Inco Ships at Port Ash

In mid-February Captain Val Rykov, Master on Goliath, attended Port Ash for a 5 day ship-handling course.

It was a pleasure to see an ex-Inco Ships' Master in Capt Andrew Beazley as one of the instructors on the course.

Port Ash manned ship-model sumilator is a purpose built facility which specialises in the practical aspects of shiphandling at low speeds, in confined and shallow waters, with and without tug assistance.

Inco Ships policy is for all Masters using exemptions to complete either manned-model or simulator training on an initial and recurrent basis.

Welcome Oslo Bulk 4

Inco Ships welcomes Oslo Bulk 4 to the fleet in mid-February.

Constructed in 2010 the vessel will be used to supplement HR Endeavour and Hakula.

Welcome CSL Brisbane

Inco Ships are proud to welcome CSL Brisbane to the fleet.

Constructed in 1999, the vessel has recently been fitted with a hybrid self-discharging system with a capacity of 1200T/Hr.

Inco Ships' crew, led by Captain Marek Wierzbowski and Chief Engineer Ivan Topalov boarded the vessel in Bunbury in early December with full management changeover occuring from V-Ships in mid-December.

The vessel will be engaged in the carriage of dry bulk cargoes primarily around the Australian coast.
